My girlfriend and I would like to take our kids (boys-7 & 9, girl is 8) on a vacation next summer. We are from northern Ohio, and would be open to just about any suggestions. The only place we don't want to go is Disney(Florida). We're not really into camping, and we wouldn't mind flying or taking a road trip to get there. Any ideas for something to do next summer with the kids?? Please let me know.....also any web sites that you might know of!!! I greatly appreciate your help!!!!

I want to go to the Disney parks for a few days, but I also want to be at a romantic beachy area for a few more days, so it can't be too far of a drive to the Disney parks. I am willing to stay at more than one hotel if I would have to drive.

I am looking for a hotel (Not a Condo) in the Sanibel, Captiva, Ft. Myers area during high season (12/29-01/02) for a family vacation. It will be me and my husband our 3 year old daughter and my 15 year old niece. We would like a place under $200.00 a night with a heated pool.
Any advice will be appreciated.
Thank you,

As I know, there are two option:
1. Take train to Grand central station, and then go to Time Squares for the bus ($20) to DC (4hr): total cost is about $30
Problem: How do I get to Time squares from central station? I have luggage and have only about 30mins

2. Take ATRAK from Cron-on-Hunson to Penn station, then take another train to DC: total cost about $100

Any other better route?
Thanks.

Hello from Britain! I have always wanted to visit the north-eastern part of the US, the New England type area, and it seems there are a lot of states that are quite small in size compared to other parts of the US (NE, NH, Conn, RI etc...sorry if I have those abbreviations wrong...). What I'd like to know is, do these states have individual elements to define them from one another or is the area mostly similar?

Cheers!

We live way down south where it very rarely ever snows. We are going to Branson Missouri for Christmas this year and hope to see snow. Does any one live there that can tell me what the chances are? Thanks. Our four year old would love to see the snow.
