Arizona by a huge margin. Hot and dry. CA is nice, but too humid. My nephew had very bad arthritis as a young man and was looking forward to his oler years in a wheelchair. However, his wife (a nurse) got a job in AZ and in less than one year he no longer had any arthritis symptoms.

Study the charts of Barometric changes in the US. You will find that AZ and Florida have very few changes in BP compared to other states. BP changes affects the swelling in the joints of arthritis sufferers. Not every person with arthritis is helped with a move; some may re-acclimate to the new climate and will start noticing pain again. But many are helped by moving to an area with few BP changes.
