We drove into Jackson Hole today. From the south we saw the mountains. There was a beautiful flat topped mountain. It's well south of "The"Tetons but I couldn't find a name for it.

Help us plan our road trip.

Some friends and I are planning a US road trip. We want to visit each of the 48 continguous states. Our mission is to visit at least 1 or more karaoke bars in each state. However, we disagree on how long our trip will, or should take.

At first, we agreed on 3 months (we need to be back in Seattle by the time winter quarter begins). But now, we are not so sure. Has anyone traveled through all of the lower 48 states? If so, how long did it take?

Even if you have not done a US road trip before ( We drove to San Diego once; then we walked across the border to Tijuana.), how long should we take? We want to allow enough time to visit karaoke bars in each state.
