I am B.Com, MBA, qualified working woman. I got married in October2006, to a Green Card holder from USA. I wish to join my husband. I wish to know what Visa I should apply for. How long I have to wait before I can join my husband in USA?

I'm planning a Vancouver-California-Hawaiian cruise honeymooon. When in Calif, I was thinking of:
- San Francisco (city and alcatraz)
- Las Vegas (strip)
- Los Angeles (Hollywood, Theme Parks, Water park, Sea world San Diego)

Due to financial reasons, I have to drop one of the above places. Which would you suggest dropping?

Since I drive like in UK (left hand side), I am afraid to drive in Calif. Is transport between cities and within cities a good choice? safe too?

I know there have been a lot of Californians flocking to Oregon (and every other hot spot state in this country) over the past few years and I've heard there's some serious anti-california sentiment in Oregon. How true is that? How do you personally feel about Californians? I'm doing a survey and would really appreciate honest responses from Oregonians only. I'm planning a cross country roadtrip and when trying to estimate my hotel cost, I need to know when is the earliest I can check into a hotel before they charge me for the previous night?

Ex. If I check in at 4am and stay one night, will I be charged for 1 night or 2?
If I check in at noon, same question. If I check in at 11:30pm, will they charge me for that night?

My husband and I are plannig a trip to Branson this weekend. We have already booked everything. Even, our tickets to Silver Dollar City. I called and we will get a refund on the tickets if the park closes but our hotel still charges a cacellation fee.
I was just curios to see if anyone else was going to chance the weather?

He went hiking along and fell into a crevice. He was there for a few days, I think, and ended up having to either break his arm or amputate. He had one package of some type of food and had to drink his own urine to survive. He was a very experienced hiker but did not tell anyone his whereabouts this time.

My boyfriend and I are planning on traveling to Texas for Christmas... but after staying with the family and such we kinda want to break free and drive a little further up north to see snow. We will have aprox. 3 days before we have to be back in Miami. Does anyone have any sugestions of cool places to visit or stay?? The main objective is to take our Akita to see snow.... she could use a little cold weather as we have been torturing her here in Florida. How far north would we have to drive?? Hi. My husband has been in the U.S. Navy for the past 4 years, and he gets out in July of next year. We have been stationed in Virginia, and our families are currently residing on the west coast. Does anyone have any suggestions? Or, what city or town would you live in? Either California, Oregon or Washington. What do you recommend? The clock is ticking, and he is currently on a 6 month deployment, getting back in May '07. So it's kind of all on my shoulders. Please help! I welcome all suggestions! Thank you for your time.
