It's from the western part of SC to the northeastern part of NC, over the week(s) of Thanksgiving. Back anywhere from 3 to 10 days later. One adult, two small children, one infant.

I don't have a vehicle that will make the trip. I am open to rental car, plane, bus, whatever. I am just looking for a list of what is cheapest, quickest, and overall best.

Im Moving to California in a about a year and i need someone to tell me how expensive its gonna be to go to Cali from Maryland by car?? Im talkin Gas money, hotel money, things like that. Also, where's a good place to live in california if your a struggling actor but want to live in a good enviroment?? The Saturday before Thanksgiving, I want to drive from Los Angeles to Detroit, Michigan. Does anybody know what's the quickest route from Los Angeles to Detroit or Chicago? Has any yahoo user ever done it before? I'm also accepting answers for driving from L.A. to Chicago because the route is similar.
