I'm exploring options of how to move to Utah to be with my boyfriend (options outside of marriage) I have a 3yr Bachelor's degree in Music and am considering going to school - but it's just so darned expensive! Since I don't have an exact profession like nursing or something it's hard for me to get a specific work visa. I figure this is a shot in the dark, but it can't hurt!

Ok, i've always wanted a lot of land. Like... A LOT. so i figured since those states are so large in area, and they have like the least population of any state, could i get an insane amount of land out there for pretty cheap? like 100,000 acres or more? how much do you think that would cost? thanks.

In mid-May my boyfriend and I are flying out west to take a roadtrip. Our goal is to get away from it all and see varying geographies without having to drive forever... I only want to go through a couple of states so we have time to enjoy each place. We're in search of mountains, forest, desert, lakes, and possibley ocean -- but most of all, wilderness. I'd love to see some great cities, but with unpopulated natue in between. I don't want to drive along the California coast only to be met with 20 other tourists everytime I try to pull over into a scenic turnout. Our original plan was LA to Portland, but we thought that might be too long and overcrowded. Some new options we've come up with: Phoenix to Denver, Montana to Seattle, or Oregon to Vancouver. I'm really open to anything, but I definitely want to see some desert if that can be in the mix. Any recommendations of routes? Cities to fly into/out of? Highways that are super scenic but sparsely populated? Thanks!

If you like coasters, it is one of the best. soooo many to choose from. don't ride myself anymore(get sick headaches) but many places are hard pressed to compare for the size of the place. would like a comparision from someone who has been there and other well-known parks.

Help me out with this? I'm taking a road trip in a year or so and wanted to pick out where to go plenty ahead of time to estimate how much it'll cost and what's on the way there. I'm compiling a list of the Top Ten things across the US someone should see and I'm going to pick from it with my friends that are going with me. So far I have Niagra Falls, the Grand Canyon, New York City, Hersheys (Pennsylvania-just because it'd be crazy awesome) and Disneyland. Never been to any of those places before...not interested in going to LA or Chicago....pick the top five places in the US (Alaska & Hawaii included) you'd say I should put on my list and the best answer gets ten points. Thanks to all that give sincere answers. :)

We were thinking of going to Panama, but i recently was told thats a bad idea. I just want to move somewhere that is different, but affordable...

My boyfriend and I are in our 20's and currently live in Kansas. We're wanting to move somewhere "exciting" while we're still young. We like warm weather and being outside. We'd like a place where the cost of living is somewhat reasonable. The more things there are to do, the better. I am in marketing, and he is a student, so there would need to be a university near by. Any suggestions?

I live in the south, but I am thinking about moving up north. Do the people who live in the north wish they lived in the south because of the weather, or do you really like living up there?
