I have worked in an inbound customer service call center for 2 different companys for 12 years running . I have dealt with New Yorkers , Chicogoans, Texans , Californians and nothing takes the cake in terms of rudeness like pacific northwest people .
Why is that so .

PS New Yorkers your reputation for being rude is undeserved, your state has some of the nicest people i have ever had the pleasure to talk to.

My friend and I are planning to take a road trip to CA and have a wild and fun weekend there but we don't know where to go. We were thinking Santa Barbara or Santa Monica but we are not sure yet. We are looking for a city where there's lots of bars and clubs.
We do have limitted budget. Can anyone recommend a good city to go to and have fun ?

All things considered, what is safer? Amtrak or Greyhound? I get panic attacks when I fly so that's out of the question. I'm a male in my mid-20s.

I like museums, breweries, and good food. I am only going to be there for a few days for work, so my time is very limited. Are there any special events in late November?

I wil be attending a school in Northern Kentucky come January and since I don't have a car I'm fixing to take the bus...It'd be closer for me to go to Cincinnati, OH than to Lexington for a bus terminal...

So this would be a trip from Cincinnati to Ashtabula (northeastern Ohio) which is about 5,6,7 hours depending on other stops...I don't have much experience on long travel buses - so how are Mega-bus and Greyhound Buses' safety, and just the experience in general and all that?

I don't need it to be great but just safe and cheap enough to get me to where I need to go....I'll be taking this lil jaunt about every 6 weeks so hopefully it won't be too awful...
