Thinkin' about travelling to Nashville, TN. Is there a lot to do and see? Will I need a car to rent or is stuff easy to get to by bus or by other means (like train? or whatever?). What's the best thing to see in Nashville?

Yes!! Nashville, Tennessee is beautiful!!! Try going and staying at the Opryland Hotel. That place is magnifacent on the inside. They have a boat that you can go on that takes you through the entire hotel for a small fee. They also have small stores that you can shop at and several restaraunts/diners/cafe`s that you go to to eat and enjoy yourself. There are a lot more stuff in there that you can do as well without having to leave the hotel unless you want to. I've been there several times. It is pretty easy to get around. For when I was there I took a trolly car through town from/by the Opryland Hotel. Lots of stuff to do and see. There is a shopping mall practally walking distance from the hotel. And also the Grand Ole Opry is another wonderful thing to go to. They have things that go on there that you can see. I'd say go there and have fun and enjoy yourself!! Have fun on whatever you plan to do!!

I have family in Nashville, so I didn't know it was the country music capitol of the world. I had fun, there are many things to see. The country is beautiful too!

I met many country music people in my summers spent there, but really didn't get it! I thought the beetles and rolling stones were music famous! Flatt and Scrubs, Johnny Cash, Loretta Lynn didn't impress me!

Nashville is rough, wonderful, dangerous and peaceful!

downtown Nashville is great and full of things to do and see. There is a bus system but renting a car gives you more flexability. It all depends on what you like and enjoy doing
