Yes, I have been several times. There are different things you can do depending on which side of the Falls you are visiting. You can visit attractions on the American side and on the Canadian side. If you want to do both it is a VERY quick drive over the bridge or a walk over the bridge into the other country.

The better view is on the Canadian side, but on the American side you can get up and close to the Falls.

You can do the Maid of the Mist on both sides. That is going on the boat that takes you right up to the Falls-you will get wet! But they supply you with rain coats.

The American side has an attraction called "Cave of the Winds" that actually lets you walk right next to the Falls! You get wet there as well.

These are not open in the winter as its too cold!

The Canadian side is VERY built up for tourists. There is a big Hershey factory store, arcades, bowling, mini golf, haunted houses, wax musuems, etc. There is little to do on the US side. I would stay on the Canadian side because you can get extremely good deals on hotels and then walk over to the US side if you want. It is VERY cold in the winter! This is a great spring/summer .

At night the Falls are illuminated with coloured lights, which is very pretty. In the summer there are fireworks at night over the Falls. I think there is a festival called Festival of Lights in the winter on the Canadian side where there are light displays all around.

If you like casinos-there are some on both sides of the border.

See below links to both US and Canadian tourism sites.

Last summer we had a chance to ride the Niagara SkyWheel, which was excellent and worth the money. http://www.skywheel.ca

We went at around 10pm which allowed us to see the
