I am a single 40-year-old woman; outgoing, moderately social, and like outdoor activities, good restaurants, shopping, etc.
Information about home prices/neighborhoods would also be welcome.
Many Thanks!

I live in Dallas and we are trying to go on a small vacation in January, but also inexpensive. I mean really inexpensive. We would love to go somewhere with a cooler climate, but I would love any suggestions. Remember inexpensive.

I guess it doesn't have to be Florida, but I'm thinking I can get an affordable flight for this busy travel time to there from Chicago...

Is a certain coast in Florida warmer? Near a major airport is ideal.

My girlfriend and I are both 29, so we're not really looking for something that is family-conducive. A little quitier is better I suppose.

Thank you!

I want to know if it's possible to have two valid driving licenses from two different states in the United States. I live and work in Illinois but I have my boyfriend in Georgia. We both drive each others car. I would be much more relaxed If I had a valid driving license from there. Can I ? or it's against the law?

I am going to be graduating from college (May 2007) to pursue my career in teaching elementary age students. Obviously, we all know that teaching does not pay much. I currently live in the Poconos and I hate the blizzards but not snow altogether. Keep in mind that my boyfriend of almost 5 years is a redneck and is like a "deer in headlights" when he enters any urban/city area. I was thinking Florida, Carolinas, or maybe something closer to the west coast. I would like to hear a variety of answers from different regions and of why you like/dislike it there. (you can tell I am a teacher, right?) Please help!

I am moving from San Francisco to North Carolina's eastern region. I have estimated $800 for U-haul daily fee (based on three days time), mileage and gas assuming I rent the smallest truck they have. Is this figure close or should I budget more money? I have the food and lodging part under control. Thanks for your help.

I was driving up 85N to Richmond the other day, and on the side of the highway was what looked like a dead deer or animal and it looked like it had been skinned and there was some gross blood marks. There was a highway maintenance truck there, I guess they where getting ready to remove it.

At first I thought it was a person and I got a shock, but then I realized it was a deer or something. But it was completely skinned. It was disgusting to look at, but how would it have got like that?

New York takes the cake. People be talkin bout how NYC is too unfriendly and the air is bad and its a dirty place, and the music scene is stale and stuff. That's a load off bull. Just because New York has some imperfections don't make it a worse city than everyone else. Cities like Atlanta are cool and all. When I am in the A i feel different. More like a family atmosphere. Even in the airport before you step on Atlanta ground you can feel the love. The music scene is cool, Luda, Jeezy, Outcast
