I was driving up 85N to Richmond the other day, and on the side of the highway was what looked like a dead deer or animal and it looked like it had been skinned and there was some gross blood marks. There was a highway maintenance truck there, I guess they where getting ready to remove it.
At first I thought it was a person and I got a shock, but then I realized it was a deer or something. But it was completely skinned. It was disgusting to look at, but how would it have got like that?

PEOPLE! You are going to give me nightmares!!!!! I sure hope we don't have chupacabras or aliens near Raleigh!
Seriously ... it was a deer, and I highly doubt an aliens did it.

1. A large vehicle hit it and oftentimes the injuries are so massive the hide is torn from the carcass.
2. The deer might have been struck and killed by a vehicle and then animals such as coyotes or cats could have torn its hide off.

First, ewww.
Second, I ssaw that in Georgia when I lived there, too. I had an acquaintence that, if he hit a deer, would skin it, take the skin, and then drive off.
In Georgia, you could even get a license to take the entire deer for meat if it was roadkill(ed) less than an hour before.
Gross, but true. An no aliens.

Thats where someone has killed it and took the best parts, propably the tender loins and antlers, and left the rest on the side of the road because it was inconvenient. Being a hunter, I see this happen a lot and it disgusts me. Me and my brothers eat what we can, give away the rest. Those people that waste good meat on the side of the road aren't real hunters, they're poachers and should be dealt with accordingly.

Bummer! i recognize of no speedy way, except hosing an figuring out on, one hair at a time! i might want to be tempted to apply a detergent in a small spot that i replaced into particular i might want to get nicely-rinsed. it may destroy the rigidity and allow tha hair to bathe off. yet another idea. get some wide packing tape, and make an interior roll ( sticky area out) . Dry the carcass ok, use paper towels generously. Then roll the tape over the hairs. they could stick!

Could've fallen out of the back of a hunter's truck. That's the only solution I can think of.
