I guess it doesn't have to be Florida, but I'm thinking I can get an affordable flight for this busy travel time to there from Chicago...

Is a certain coast in Florida warmer? Near a major airport is ideal.

My girlfriend and I are both 29, so we're not really looking for something that is family-conducive. A little quitier is better I suppose.

Try the Florida Keys!! I am not talking about Key West! I am referring to the Keys that are a little north of KeyWest like Marathon, Boca Chica, Big Pine and Little Torch. You can find some GREAT private house rentals with in-ground pools that are right on the gulf that are a great deal!! You can have all the seclusion in the world or if you get in your car a take a short drive to Key West so you can get a lil crazy too!

my family and i went down dec of 05, we started out in ft lauderdale....yucky beach jelly fish washed up lotta rocks, we then went to ft myers beach...i would choice this area, we also traveled to tampa bay area st petersburg to be exact and that is also nice.....i woul recommend ft myers though....pretty water fine white sand...amazing!!! Have fun
