I am a single 40-year-old woman; outgoing, moderately social, and like outdoor activities, good restaurants, shopping, etc.
Information about home prices/neighborhoods would also be welcome.
Many Thanks!

Knoxville- Great restaurants are Edison Park, expensive but nice. Go have a seat at the bar and your are sure to meet a descent guy. The old City is nice. Kind of a mixed crowd. Older and younger. Michael's on Kingston Pike is a pretty good club for 40 and single and the food is great!! especially if you like Oysters. Shopping, I like West Town mall, East Town Mall, Kohl's, TJ Max, Lots of great shopping on Kingston Pike.

Small bar called Roosters off NorthShore its a hole in the wall but a great atmosphere. Ricks place another hole in the wall.

Bailey's is a great sports bar, one of my favorites. Great food and its a nice size place. Kingston Alley up the road is also a nice place with good bands.

(Bailey's would be my favorite out of all of those.)

Cotton Eyed Joe's a country dance club very crowded but OK place.

Outdoor activities you are better off driving up to Gatlinburg or Townsend. Lot's of beautiful hiking spots, waterfalls, and mountain views. Great place to Repel if you like that sort of thing. They also have Lot's of camp grounds, and cabins.

Not sure about homes and pricing. I lived in Maryville, about 20 min away from Knoxville. Maryville is a great place to live with wonderful neighborhoods and schools.

If I moved to Knoxville and could afford it, I would choose a neighborhood off of NorthShore.

Nashville is better, Knoxville has to many tourists smokey mountains, I think bristol is near there, UT too small to be as crowded as it is.
