The weather is OK in Michigan, no earthquakes or hurriances. the job front that there is not a whole lot of jobs here.the crime rate for the actual city of Detroit is very high. outside the city is so-so here in Mt Clemens is pretty good.plenty of nightlife , sports teams, and other entertainment . The schools are ok in the city but in the brubs are they are great . in other words life is always better in the burbs than the city Of detroit. the website will give you more info.

I'm not much of a city person, but I love Boston. Everything is within walking distance, or at least within walking distance of a subway stop. There's lots of culture stuff you can do during the day, and since it's a huge college town, lots of nightlife, too. Like most cities, though, it's very expensive to live in or near Boston (both for rent and for general cost of living).
My husband is from the Seattle area. He loves Seattle, I've only been there a couple times, though. When it stops raining/drizzling, the view of Mt. Rainier is pretty spectacular. On the flip-side, Mt Rainier is an active volcano! The "feel" of Seattle, in my opinion, is a lot like Boston in some ways - it's a relatively small city, so it's not overwhelming to a suburban girl like me.

I live in MI (north of Detroit too) and agree with above post. If I had to choose out of the four, I would choose Boston because the East coast is amazing and Boston has great colleges and lots of things to do. Not to mention the history there! Lots of culture there too.
