My Boyfriend and I have been planning a vacation for Christmas and we narrowed down our choices to Pensacola and Miami. I prefer miami cuz I have never been there plus the night life and other activities too. Miami just sounds too active but it could be v crowded around christmas time. I find Pensacola more as a peaceful vacation spot. If anyone has been to both the places can someone suggest what would be a good choice? I am looking for a balanced vacation spot where we could have fun, dancing, out-door activities and at the same time relax and have a peaceful stay. Any suggestion would be appreciated! Thanks :-).

My roomie and I are heading down to Florida from Michigan. Everyone keeps telling us to just take I-75 all the way down there... BUT. Neither of us are all that great at directions in the first place, so does someone have a website other than: Mapquest, Yahoo, Msn, or Rand McNally that will give the I-75 route?

My girlfriend wants to take me some place nice for my birthday. All of the roads to the beach are flooded and its raining there anyway. We were going to go to Seattle, but its flooded too. Portland might be an option but there isn't much to do there. Any ideas? We are thinking of going up the Columbia River Gorge, but i dont know if there is anything there but desert!

I'm 15. Do I need to have both parents present when I apply for my passport? My dad lives in Maine, but my parents aren't divorced or separated. Can just my mom take me to get my passport? Is it different for each state?

I currently live in California and the cost of living has sky rocketed. My husband and I have been considering moving to another state so that we can afford to live. He has suggested Oregon. I'm afraid I know nothing about it. How easy is it to find a good job?

My husband and I are considering relocating to one of these locations. We both grew up around NYC but relocated to Northern Florida about three years ago. Weather is nice but being a middle-aged childless couple we are looking for and a more fun, active urban downtown setting. Preferably an area that offers good cultural events, art galleries, entertainment, and great food options, etc. It seems like New Haven or Providence might be a nice option.....NYC and Boston are great but $$$$$$$$$$!!!! Your feedback about living in these areas (pros and cons) would be greatly appreciated!
