God only knows what could happen 100 years from now, but I would say the chances are pretty slim. It's hard to reach the caliber of city that New York has become through history and constant building.

The other factor is location. It has a lot of the elements that make for an ideal area for big business.

If I had to bet on the next large city to come around, I would place my money on Orlando. With many people looking to escape the cold weather and the lower cost of business, I think it has a lot of room to grow.
