Florida is great because it's one season all year round (though for us natives, winter is cold, bt obvbiously by northern standards it's NOTHING).
There are many places in that state where you can stay to have a romantic time and/or fun time.
Many parts of Miami are very nice, as is St Augustine. If you don't mind being landlocked, then Orlando's fun to go to. I haven't been to Pensacola, but I've heard great things of the beaches...
Heck, if you're looking for a bit of wilderness, then I recommend checking out the Everglades. It's imposible not to see some really cool animals there.

I once went to a great oceanfront little town called Cocoa Beach. It was like 45 minutes away from Orlando. It has very good resturaunts, very nice hotels for a reasonable price, there are great people there, and the weather is spectacular. If you are going soon, the weather is most likely sunny with a high of 75. Which is really great weather. I hope you enjoy wherever you go in Florida! Now I wish I could go instead of being up here in the cold!!

The weather is great, especially at this time of year. It's hard to answer your question, because there are so many different areas of Florida to choose from.
If you are looking for something close to the beach, I would say Sarasota, Palm Beach or Naples.
If you are looking for things to keep you busy and lots of entertainment you could go to Orlando and have the Honeymoon at Disney.
Whatever you chose, I would bet that you will have a great time. Have fun.

I go to fort walton beach. Its got beautiful white sand and it doesnt seem as busy as any of the other places..would be great for a honey moon. Havent been in a while but we used to stay at the nautilus condominiums. They are really nice (or at least were back then) and really reasonably priced. There are tons of great places to eat.
Info on Fort Walton Beach

Or from the site listed above you can even rest private beach houses there.
Hope you find the perfect place to go, even if it isnt ft walton beach.
