Im Moving to California in a about a year and i need someone to tell me how expensive its gonna be to go to Cali from Maryland by car?? Im talkin Gas money, hotel money, things like that. Also, where's a good place to live in california if your a struggling actor but want to live in a good enviroment?? Also, it'd help if i could get some advice from other struggling actors:) One last thing, how much money do i need to save up to drive up to cali from Maryland and how much rent money do i need in advance? Just need to start saving!! PLEASE HELP ME!!
Also, What do i need to be aware of, ANYTHING????!!

Your gonna need as much $$$ as you can get because Cali is expensive! And if you think you are going to find a GOOD place to stay for cheap in Cali GOOD LUCK! Struggling actors fall prey to the LA area. I really suggest you line up a job first before you come, becuase it's gonna be tough around here. Plus gas in cali is above the national average so when you get around here expect to pay more for gas, food, and lodging.

Well im not POSITIVE abou the gas money to drive from Maryland to Cali....probably around $500+??? and i woudl suggest not to move too close to Hollywood its super expensive try areas around L.A. if your closer to the beach area you will find that apratments are very expensive. the gas price over here is about $2.34 and Studio apartments will hit for about $650-850 think VERY hard about your move...it will be hard but good luck...i live in Torrance, California. and its Great neighborhood and about 10-15 minutes from beach.

hey there! i live in CA! it is soo awesome ur gonna love it! you are going to need about 700 dollars for gas. srry :( it is very expensive here...but so worth it cuz it is the only state where you can go to the beach, ocean, and forest all in ONE DAY!!! good luck!
