Beverly Hills is famous for the large, stylish mansions of famous movie stars.
One of the most famous being "Pickfair", the home of Douglas Fairbanks and Mary Pickford on Summit Drive.
Other wealthy movie people who settled in Beverly Hills were Will Rogers, John Barrymore, Robert Montgomery and Miriam Hopkins.
Beverly Hills is also famous for it's extravagant shops and boutiques along Rodeo Drive and Beverly Drive.
Built in 1912 the Beverly Hills Hotel is quite well known too.
And of course it has the most famous ZIP code in the country 90210, made so by the popular 1990 television show, "Beverly Hills 90210"
Then there was "The Beverly Hillbillies" (TV series and movie) and of course the (Eddie Murphy) "Beverly Hills Cop" movies "

People with money.........The family's that run out of money move out of Beveraly Hills. It's a statis symbol of old time movie stars. And of fancy stores. A good place to find a famous face....Close to Hollywood, far enough away from downtown Los Angles.
