I am considering transferring to Cornell University. I am interested in the IRL program. My main concern in the huge size of the student population and campus. And the fact that it is in Ithaca. I am currently in a school with about 5,000 undergrads in Washington, DC. Any thoughts, opinions, or advice?

From my experience of living several places in the south and living in the northeast of the U.S., southerners are polite but you do not know where you stand with many of them. You are more likely to know where you stand with the northerners. I have actually found some genuinely nice people in NYC! I am tired of the "fakeness" here in the south. Anyone with similar experiences/feelings?

i'm 33 and my goal is to visit all 50 us states before i'm 45 and i've been to 24 of 50 states.

plus i never stay in the same place i have been to before more then a day, b/c there is a lot to see.

Do you like it? What are the pros and cons? I know its a big tourist town, but I'm ready for some excitement. I live in Okeechobee, FL where the most excitement is the town parade twice a year. =(

does any one know which states provide this...?

I heard they give you clear plastic bags for anything you wish to take on board is this true? What is allowed in those bags? How big are they? I was considering taking 2 paperback books and some hygeine items, what is your advice? Also, I have 2 younger children with me I need to consider.
