Do you like it? What are the pros and cons? I know its a big tourist town, but I'm ready for some excitement. I live in Okeechobee, FL where the most excitement is the town parade twice a year. =(

are you asking about relocating to st augustine? i love st augustine and recommend anyone visiting it, but i wouldn't suggest moving here. it would be more exciting than okechobee but not by much (we also have 2 parades a year) its great for me but I'm married and in my 30s, so I'm not looking for tons of excitement. all my friends in their 20s can't wait to move away from here, also job opportunities are not great. I'd say try something a little bigger, like jacksonville, orlando or tampa

I go every Easter for baseball training camp with my players (I coach). If you are going and want to stay on the cheap but still be close to things there is a howard johnsons express on the north side near the "Fountain of youth" that is great. There are a couple places right there to see. You are also a 10 minute walk to the action. Rent a moped one day and you can see everything in an interesting way without having to worry about parking a car (which can be tough there if it is a particularly touristy time).

Go see the Ripley's Believe it or Not museum there, it is incredible, better than almost every one I have ever seen, maybe the best. They have a couple alligator farms there that are neat although if you are from Florida it might not be such a different thing.

While living near St Augustine a few years ago, I visited several times. There is a lot to see and do, and I always found the locals friendly at the places I went. There are plenty of very good restaurants, lots of shopping, great watering holes with entertainment, and of course all the history of our country's oldest city.

no longer GEORGIA!!!!!! NOOOOOT TENNESSEE! i'm from Key West!!!!!!!! i've got been to St. Augustine soooooo many circumstances and it rather is beautiful. No any site visitors, the each and every person is surely exciting (like in Key West) and in comparison to all different too, sea coast occasion!!!!!!!!! Key West is advantageous and relaxing, St. Aug is friendly and joyful.
