I am not sure of the name of the public park, but it is at the base of Lemon Mountain - great hike!
Also there is the sonoran wildlife centre about a half hour drive away - it is amazing! There is also a true ghost town on your way to the wildlife centre - you turn left when the sign says the wildlife centre is to the right.
Also, there is the "Biodome" - an amazing place that was built to replicate a living space centre environment. The Airport by itself is pretty cool, because all the Davis Air Force Base F-18's do trining prctice there.
Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

Sabino Canyon is basically free, except maybe to park. There's a great desert view out by the Desert Museum for watching the sunset - I forget the name of the place, but there's a park area, etc. Tucson Electric Park has AAA ball, and I think it's fairly cheap to go there.

Go to Old Tucson where they film the cowboy movies, it's corny but kind of cool cause it really makes you feel like you're in the Old West. They also used to have this boardwalk that was kind of like the Walk of Fame for all the movie stars that had filmed there.
