Help us plan our road trip.

Some friends and I are planning a US road trip. We want to visit each of the 48 continguous states. Our mission is to visit at least 1 or more karaoke bars in each state. However, we disagree on how long our trip will, or should take.

At first, we agreed on 3 months (we need to be back in Seattle by the time winter quarter begins). But now, we are not so sure. Has anyone traveled through all of the lower 48 states? If so, how long did it take?

Even if you have not done a US road trip before ( We drove to San Diego once; then we walked across the border to Tijuana.), how long should we take? We want to allow enough time to visit karaoke bars in each state.

Thanks for your help.

Well, I've gone from San Deigo CA to West Palm Beach FL and it took three overnight stays and 4 full days, hardly stopping at all except necessary. I would suggest pulling out the mapquest and figuring miles to find out drive time and then determine how much time you have to stop in each state that way and plan your best route. Good luck and have fun!!! Sounds like a blast.
My mom has been taking trips every now and then to do the same thing she lives in Texas so she can head any direction when she wants to work on accomplishing her goal.

The longest holiday we've enthusiastic approximately my a million year previous is a 10 hour holiday. i could plan on making that holiday a 2 trip. do no longer rush to get there. Your little guy is slightly youthful, yet I continually delivered a brilliant number of snacks. The gerber puffs, the mummy mums (no longer almost as messy via fact the gerber teething biscuits) and so on. purchase a sparkling toy or 2, and don't enable him have it till ya'll circulate on the holiday. something new retains their interest a sprint longer. gown him very extremely and likewise something that is going to be worry-free to alter his diaper. via fact we could get actual, you're in all threat going to be doing a brilliant number of back seat changing. maximum gas stations don't have a changing table. i could leave in the process the nighttime so as that he will sleep for as long as a threat, this continually enables! reliable luck!

If you want to do it right, it would take years. But since you're only going bar hoping.....
I don't know, get a map and a highlighter and plan your trip out visually. Then you can get on mapquest and map out the miles and driving time.

It took us two weeks to do it. Constant driving, though.
