I'm visiting beautiful Alaska in two months, and i'm worried about bears. I will visit Jeannaue, Anchorage, and Fairbanks and I wanna visit the cities and go up in the mountains. Will I encounter bears? Should I go with a group to stay safe? Can I bring a Rifle?

A couple of weeks ago, I read a Yahoo! feature about the best small towns in America to live in/visit. One of these towns was located in the North West, in either Oregon or Washington, and featured a coastal resort. I have been trying desperately to find the name of this place, as it was one I really wanted to include on my honeymoon trip. Can anybody help me out?

My fiancé and I are planning for a road trip on Route 66 from St. Louis, MO to Santa Monica, CA during Christmas Holiday. I am planning a trip to korea. I am a canadian with a criminal record. I am in the process of a pardon but it won't be processed by the time i leave. it is for petty theft over 16 years ago. I will be flying out of Can. but I will be switching planes in the U.S. will I have any problems at the U.S. even though I am not staying there. I am only changing flights to go to korea?

I have a free ticket to almost anywhere in the lower 48 states and i wanted to know if anyone had the best suggestion for a quick 1 day trip without staying overnight. i would prefer something where i would not have to take to many taxis. I want to get off the plane and enjoy my day. i love sightseeing and bars/clubs. Any ideas? I been to Las Vegas many times and like to go somewhere else

I'm not exactly sure how to spell Lake Merridean, meridian, merridian, well anyways, doesn anyone know how many Lake Merrideans are in the state of Washington? They can be small or big, popular or uncommon, all they have to be is named Lake Merridian. So does anyone out there know how many there are, it would also be helpful if they new the location in WA of these lakes. Thanks for anyone who can help!
