8 Track, I wouldn't be able to do anything this week, as my client is going through a data conversion, but I love renting a car and driving somewhere far. Maybe one of these days...

fire and ice: I'm from San Diego. The weather is boring here. What you describe seems intriguing.

cold. the lipids in my gluteus maximus have solidified and seperated from the rest of my person. thankx for asking. i am taking you back to az with me, so you can fry in the glorious sunshine and sip vanilla vodka by my pool. also, they have these tall green things here, maybe like one hundred feet tall. i never saw any bushes that tall. Maybe they should use spray.
also, we are coming back , down the pacific coast highway, so its never too late to take a day off.

I"m about twenty minutes below Nevada City, but it's absolutely gorgeous here right now. It's clear and the stars are out in droves. Since N.C. is above me, it's probably a few degrees colder there, and it definitely will smell more like fall than it does in my corner of the foothills. Also, the trees up there really change colors with the fall so it's amazingly beautiful.

All in all, you'd definitely be enjoying every second in Nevada City right now.

Cool spot in Nevada City: Cafe Mekka. They serve the best chocolate desserts ever invented. :0)

Portland Oregon is having mass flooding from the down pours. Was hoping Northern California would be receiving moisture ?

lol you wanna see snow come to Canada, actually go in the north of Canada. You'll see plenty of snow and oh the temperature well does a minus 50 or so sound good lol Naw didn't think so. Snow is okay but after awhile it gets to you depending on where you are from. when you see it for lond periods of time and experience cold weather that keeps you inside you tend to get sick of the snow. In all though snow is beautiful and at it's best when everything is completely white and it is dark outside(nighttime) and huge snow flakes fall ever so slowly to the ground, mow that is something you should see. lol

It would depend on who your travel companion is, because you surely are not traveling alone. A man like you needs a woman who understands Piratey things. Many a fine yacht will be loaded with booty, and land lubbers sleeping below because of a little night breeze.

Wisconsin is better my friend. Chilly with lots of cheese, nippy weather, and fresh beer. A vacationers paradise.

It's chilly here in L.A., so northern California is probably quite cold right now.
