(I'm Canadian by the way but curious. I have done extensive travelling through about 3/4 of the states over the last 35 years and just love them all. My choice would be the deep south)

I live in California and I'm very happy. I wouldn't want to change that. The deep south Is very humid,I know I visited Arkansas and I really didn't like the weather. In the summer it's dry and could rain without notice. Lots of bugs. In the spring the bugs come out. In the fall, I must say is the only time I would visit as the leaves fall and it's beautiful. In the winter the bugs aren't out but very cold. Most deep south states are like that. If you like that then that's the best place for you to live. Take care.

I live in Western North Carolina. The climate here is perfect except in deep winter. I would rather spend that period of time in southern Florida. I love St. Augustine but it would have to be a lot further south in Florida than that.

I currently live in Texas, and grew up in New York.
If I had to chose, it would be Arizona because I like the desert.
