My parents are travelling from Canada to the US soon and I have asked them to try to find a toy car for my son and send it to me in Sweden. It would be a large package and much cheaper for them to send from the US instead of from Canada. My question--------Do you need ID to send a package from there? They can use my aunt's adress in PA if you must have a US return address? Anyone know? And just to clarify I have been unable to find this item outside of the US.
Thanks:-)

That depends.
What service are you using?
If you use the US Postal Service, No I.D. is required for any package under 20 oz. sent. Over 20 oz. you need to drop it off in person to the post office, but still no ID. Here, try this.

No ID is required but a return address is a good idea. The only time an overseas package is questioned is if US customs thinks it looks suspicious. Sometimes they will open it to look inside.

I don't think you need that. I've sent sent several packages outside the U.S. before and they never asked for my ID - but I'm not sure... maybe it's because I used my credit card and so that was like an ID...
But I really don't think that you need that.

No; you just need to have the correct postage on it, and pay any fees for special handling (if any) such as airmail.
