somewhere in the Carolinas. What is there to see?

It is in South Carolina. It is a nice but cheesy tourist trap. Thats all, nothing real special. They have a gazallion billboards along the highways to get you to stop there. If you stop there at least you can say you have been there. Have fun.

It's off I-95, just south of the NC-SC state line in South Carolina. It predates the interstate. It's on US 301, which parallels the interstate and used to be the primary highway to Florida from the north. The billboards for it used to stretch as far north as Philadelphia, but the last time I drove to Florida (now I usually fly), I didn't see any until North Carolina.

I was there last fall for the first time in over a decade. They were still selling the exact junk that they had then. Stop once to say that you have and then keep driving. There is really nothing to see but a bunch of tacky Mexican looking buildings selling junk.

It is a dying breed of tourist trap located in South Carollina.Like the See Rock City barns of yesterday the "South of The Border" signs are all over the roadways leading to this establishment.Drop in and say you've been there.
