Me and my bf are going to time square next thursday we just need a room for 1 night? All the hotels I looked up were so expensive!!

my girlfriend and i are off to new york for 5 days in january and just wondered how much spending money i will need to take.

we will be doing all the tourist stuff and eating out a lot and just need a rough estimate for day and night time spending.

im planningon visiting nyc on a tuesday, at about 6-7 am.

do you think it would be hard for me to find parking in timesquare?

are there any cheap garages? and if so how much & where?

I've posted this question in 2 places beccause i dunno where to put it.

A group of friends and I wanted to go out to the city tonight. Our age groups range from 17-21 (yes...idk) and everyone wants to go somewhere we we can get drinks. Are there any cool places in the city that don't check for I.D.s?

We are thinking about visiting New York City perhaps sometime in January, but we would love to be there when it is snowing. For those of you who live in New York, do you all get a lot of snow? My travel dates are very flexible, so if there is a particular time when you "usually" have snow (I know nobody can actually guarantee snow), please let me know. (Hubby is turning 49 in December and has never seen snow in his life). We really need to escape the heat of Florida for a week or so. Thanks
