if you are over 21 then the casino bus is the cheapest way....you can pick them up in
Manhattan...Chinatown
Brooklyn....Avenue U or 8th Avenue
Queens....Flushing....
i am sure there are other places....but these are the ones i know...

Actually, I've taken a few different ones. Believe it or not, Greyhound has a pretty good deal, and offers the most flexibility. they are all about the same pricewise, but because Greyhound has so many buses, you can return at almost any time, day or night. You have 24 or 48 hours, I'm not sure, to use the return trip. Also, if your bus has left, you can go to another Casino, and catch a bus there, or go to the Bus depot, about 4 blocks off the main drag. Any bus heading back to the Port Authority will take you, if there's room. Hope this helped, good luck. Tom

I live in NJ and take the train to Long Island. Check the rates from Penn Station to Atlantic City. You may have to transfer, but at least someone else is driving!

if you can still find those casino busses, perhaps from Chinatown, they'll give you quarters and so your ride may actually end up being next to FREE!
