The fanfare is over. Thus, the city is on the same "crime level." Folk love excitement and do very little when things "quiet down." I believe that New York is just as safe as it ever was. I had hoped that America would have learned from that catastrophic affair. I wish you well. Peace, Love and God Bless.

Everywhere is as safe as you make it,I think.Protect yourself.Don't give out information to strangers or over the internet if it doesn't seem legit.Don't cash those "you just won a lottery from zambabweia" checks.Lock your doors at night or when you are home alone.Keep cash inside your zipped purse, and don't carry large amounts of it.Carry a can of mase if you don't feel safe, and.or enroll in a self-defense class.A lot of towns actually offer these for free.Don't leave your vehicle unattended in an unfamiliar place, make sure you lock it.Don't leave spare keys in obvious places.Don't go out at night alone if possible.Basically just make sure you keep a healthy awareness about your surroundings and the people in them.

And of course,as your mother says "Don't talk to strangers!!"

It is as safe in New York as it is anywhere. It is being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

particular, extra terrorists are being created, because of the fact not one of the government or CIA responsible for the terrorism of 9/11 have yet been dropped at justice, yet they have alienated maximum of others who have been in the previous non violent, that extra terrorism happens. One very considerable factor is the depleted uranium in Iraq. The radiation from the DU shells is inflicting plenty discomfort and agony to Iraqis that a lot of them be attentive to they're doomed to die from the cancers thy have caught from the radiation. So, with a view to get rid of the discomfort, they do no longer innovations killing themselves, and could as properly take a number of those whom they see responsible with them. for this reason there are maximum of suicide bombers - because of the fact maximum of human beings are plagued via radiation from the DU weapons, which comprise American infantrymen.

I'd say it's pretty safe. Even though there are still crimes, many cops are on the lookout but that doesn't mean all of the cops do their job right.

There is always the possible danger of another attack. But for day to day living it is safer than nearly any other big city in America.
