My boyfriend and I have driven through NJ several times on vacations, and a few times have needed to stop for gas. New Jersey has a state law that disallows one from pumping his or her own gas. What is the rationale behind this law?

I know those are general terms, but it doesn't have to be exact. =D I tried to figure it our myself but by my calculations, it would take over a month and I KNOW that's not right (considering we drove to Indiana and it only took ... I forget, but it sure didn't take a month).

Thanks =D

I've lived in New Jersey, 15 min away from NY, my entire life & I've never been to the parade. I may want to go this year but I'm not sure what time I should arrive so I could have a decent standing area where I am able to see the ENTIRE parade! Where is the best area to see the parade & what time should I be there?

I really want to go to NYU but I know it's very competitive and I'm trying to get my GPA up and do good on the ACT to increase my chances. But I've also been thinking that I should just go to any local college after highschool and take some general education courses in hopes of increasing my chances than after that I can just transfer so I was wondering if that would be a bright idea to do and would this actually improve my chances of getting in?

I sure as hell know for a fact that I will not get my money's worth by playing at those machines or any other type of gamble in a casino, but rather by going to a full-nude, full-friction strip club that doesn't offer sex, but at least offers some boob and thigh massaging to those girls. That to me, is getting my money's worth in Las Vegas.

I play at the riverboats up here in Indiana and I'll bet the casinos down there in Vegas aren't any better than here as far as gameplay and odds go. On vacation, I'd rather spend my money and get my money's worth by getting some sexual gratification at a full-friction strip club than walk into a casino and throw my money away. I'd rather massage the thighs of a chic who's wearing a microskirt than throw $50 away at a quarter machine.

We are wanting to buy tickets for Phantom of the Opera. I have no idea if it's worth paying $30 more a ticket to sit in the ochestra or front mezzanine. Can somebody give me advice?

Can you sit so far back that you actually have to wear binoculars to see or can you see the stage from everywhere?
