Just as an aside, the Luxor is a bit out of the way of the rest of The Strip. I stayed there a couple of years back and ended up doing a LOT of walking.

You may want to consider something a bit more central, depending on your priorities.

Luxor rooms as like any rooms are more expensive during the weekends.. If you were coming on the weekend it would be around $200. On the weekdays they are having a special of $59 per person. Also if you live in an area, like LA or San Diego you get more deals because they like people from other states coming to Vegas. If your a foreigner then you will most likely get stuck with higher rates and if you live in Vegas forget about good deals.

these are the lowest prices since these offers are given out by the hotels themselves.

Room prices in Vegas fluctuates from day to day. The price you will pay at the Luxor depends on what else is happening in Vegas that day. Here are tips on how to get a discount hotel room in Vegas.

It depends on what time of the year you go and what room you want to stay in. I went in July and it cost me $2600 for 4 people in two different rooms for 7 day stay. So basically $650-700 a person. This amount also included air fare from Houston,TX to Vegas. These rooms where also the basics. We were not in the room but to sleep only so wasn't concerned about room to much. Have fun

Depends on when you go - season and days of the week, and on the type of room you want.

Compare options at travel sites like travelocity, expedia, travel.com, orbitz, travelworm, hotwire, etc.

Compare often, because prices fluctuate from day to day, even hour to hour. Do not visit the Luxor site to book your room - they will have higher prices than the travel sites.

go to hotels.com, it'll give you the cost on the days you want to go. However, if you have a choice, don't stay there, it's not that great.
