i was thinkning about going to school in west virginia but a couple people told me its a really racist state is this true?

Most people are friendly and open-minded. There will always be a few people in every city/state that are racist and close-minded, but you just have to forget about them because that will be anywhere. If you want to go to school in WV, please don't let what you've heard stop you. Go to school there and make a home for yourself! I'm sure they will love you and everything will be great for you. Just forget about the jerks (cause they're everywhere) and enjoy the majority, the good people.

Well, there are many West Virginians at the track in Darlington S.C. waiting for the start of the dodge challenger 500 this afternoon. The really die hard racist have even been camped out at the track for all this past week in anticipation of the race. But as it is with any state, not all the folks in West By God Virginia are racist.
