My fiance and I have recently discussed moving to a small town in Florida. We are looking for a town with a small population and is very quiet and remote. We prefer country scenery surrounded by lakes or rivers. We are quite aware of White Springs, Live Oak and Lake City and are not interested. We would like a place that is located somewhere in North Florida and has reasonable prices. Somewhere to kick back and to smell the fresh air. Please, if anyone knows of a place sounding similar to this please let us know. Thanks for your help!

I am travelling to Phoenix and Sedona with my family next year. I am now requesting quotes from major rental companies but I am hopeless when it comes to tick the boxes for insurances etc. Can you advise me on the good average coverage to choose ? And have you had a good experience with one of the companies? any of them you recommend? many thanks

So its a move that is complete opposites. I am moving from rainy puget sound..Wa state, to Nevada, close to vegas. I was just wondering on some of the things i might need to know before leaving.
I am used too 200 days of rain, moving to 5 days a year. IS that going to affect me at all, like in a weird medical way? Will it affect sinuses or anything like that? Also elevation at my home in wa, is close to 70 feet. The town i am moving too is 2710...IS that going to make a difference. I realize these are all not very important, like a wait and see till you get there, but i was just curious. What can i do to prepare myself? I have been working on getting a nice tan before i go down, honestly, so i wouldnt burn my *** off. But what else could i be doing?
Also the heat down in Nevada, is a dry heat? I cant really remember. i went to vaca there a couple times. But of course never lived.
Anyone have any suggestiongs?
Dont just try and get two points either...Thanks

I'm traveling to Vegas from San Diego and I know that the last sign of civilization before Vegas is Barstow and I'm pretty sure my big car won't make it to all the way to Vegas from Barstow without another fill or two. Does anyone know of ANY gas stations inbetween these two cities?
