Going to Yosemite, hear their are Mozzies . Are their ticks etc if you walk in the grass.?

I am not from USA so am unaware of local (US) bugs, biters etc and want to avoid as on a short holiday, road trip in California.

No tick problem, but I would put on some bug spray for the mozzies.
