I read that the bus takes 30 minutes to get to the parks. Can we drive? If so, are we charged for parking? If not, is there a better, faster way to get there? We are not going to the water parks.

We purchased the dining plan at Disney World and I know I have to make reservations for the table service meals but what about the counter service meals?
Also, I have the park hopper pass so I don't have to plan to spend the day at the park that I have dinner reservations at but is it a major hassle to get from one park to another? We don't want to have to plan every moment of our vacation.

Here is the criteria:

- I would like somewhere warm, but my husband likes the snow. Need somewhere thats a compromise.
- Low cost of living is important. Houses should be affordable.
- Jobs, jobs, jobs! Need to be able to find work. I am going to school for Gerontology (study of aging) and Health & Human Services. My husband would like to work in the computer field.

We have a 13 yr old son, 7 yr old daughter and 6 yr old son. Do you think the 13yr old will be bored entirely with Disney? It will be our 1st family vacation in 5 years and we want to spend time together as a family, but at home we end up splitting up in different directions, going separate places due to the age differences between youngest and oldest. I live there, so I know all about the museums and downtown.
Things like Disney Quest(when it was there)
Arcades Ect.
Doesnt matter if its in the suburbs!

My wife arrives in LAX terminal 6 (gate 67), and leaves 50 minutes later from terminal 7 (gate 77) -- she'll have 3 young children with here and she'll be going to Australia.
1) Can the walk between these gates be done without passing through a TSA checkpoint?

2) Is there any departure hall area that'll consume time?

Why is it the roads all over Houston are so bad? Some of them just have potholes every where and are just rough. I have never seen such bad roads except in Mexico.
