Unfortunately I can't tell you what they make but I would assume not very much (maybe $6-7 per hour). The best thing would be for you to call the Weeki Wachee park directly and ask them how much they are paying. I do know it's tough to get a job there as a mermaid though because the people who are mermaids already have been there for a number of years.

If you're looking for a job, you're too late this year. They held tryouts for replacement mermaids two weeks ago. Maybe next year.
The pay is a little fuzzy. On TV it was said minimum wage. In the paper it was said less than $10 per hour. I talked to a present day mermaid, she said the skys the limit.
