well my fiance and i are going on vacation to miami florida and we arent familier with the area. we have heard stories about fire ants and ghettos. what should we watch out for? and what are some good things to see and do in the area?

I am going on vacation to New York with a few girlfriends for the first time soon. We are staying at the Sheraton Manhattan and were wondering whether the pictures in our head of easy and amazing shopping was a reality. which would be better. By my calculations both are about same distance. From memphis, TN I-55 to I-10 to Texas OR I-55 to 40 to 30 to texarkana. Wanting to end up AROUND houston area. No specific place. Thanks so much!!!!

I am interested in relocating to Lake Forest, Illinois after the year 2009. Lake Forest is located north of Chicago in Lake County and although Lake Country is the home of the Chicago Bears, I do not know the advantages and disadvantages of living in Lake Forest? Also, does Lake Forest have the METRA and/or the Chicago Transit Authority?

My question is, what are the advantages and disadvantages of living in Evanston, Illinois and is it a good city to reside in? Why or why not?

Hello there,

My husband and I are planning a 4 day getaway to Indiana Amish country. We've never been there and were wondering where a good place to stay is. I know there's a ton of bed and breakfasts there, but we don't want to stay in someone's home. I'm thinking about the Inn at Amish Acres or something similar. Also, any good touristy info you could give me would be great. We'll be going the end of May, Thur. thru Sunday.

I want ot eventualy get into a non-governmental Org. Both citites have many. I wish to work in International NGO's though, and i know that most major offices are on the east coast. But I do love SF...

can you give me some pro's and Con's of living in both cities? Other than weather. And I know that both are pretty expensive to live in.
