Has any one ever stayed in a suite at one of the Deluxe disney resorts? Has anyone ever stayed in the Cinderella Castle Suite? Does anyone know any secrets about the Grand Floridian? Any interesting facts or opinions? Has anyone ever won anything in the year of a million dreams? Thanks!

What suites are nice? Do you have any pictures?

I did win something. When I was there in Dec. with my firends, they surprised us with a limo to take us to the airport on the day of our departure. I know for a fact they give away tons, you just have to be in the right place at the right time.Sorry I don't have many opinions about the resorts, I was in the Disney college program, so I didn't spend time at them unless I was there to meet up with family visiting from out of state. (My mom told me that while the deluxe resorts are nice, they are kind of a waste of money because you spend a good majority of your time at the parks. The only time my family spent at their resort was when they were sleeping or doing late night swimming.)

Suites: Yes, I've stayed at just about every category that Disney offers for rooms. I like to try something new each time, but generally stick with my favorite rooms. I like having the extra space and extras included, so I think that it is well worth the price. Even if I am just going with 4 or 5 people, I always get a suite or more than one room so everyone can relax and enjoy themselves. The suites at Disney are great, better than just about anything else available, again I feel they are well worth the cost. There are a lot of different categories of suites at each resort, I'm not sure what exactly you are looking at, but I don't think you will be dissapointed.

Cinderella's Suite: I've not stayed in the suite in the castle yet, though I would like to, just to expereince it and say I have. As soon as/if it becomes available for booking, I will definitely be staying there.

Year of a million dreams: I as well as some of my family members and friends have won little things, but none of the big things yet.

Facts or opinions: Not really sure what you are wanting facts on. But, I will include some links with all the info you could want on Grand Floridian, from there you can go around and look into the other resorts and things you are interested in.

I highly recommend Victoria and Albert's, it is a great restaurant, and in my opinion one of the best onsite. Rather than standing around waiting for an hour to see Wishes, watch it from the Grand Floridian beach or the boat docks, you can still get a great view, but you don't have to deal with as many people or the long lines. Be sure to take advantage of the monorail, it is my favorite reason for staying at Polynesian, Grand Floridian and Contemporary, a long with many other reasons. Also be sure to check out the Electrical Water Pagent, again you can watch on the beach or the boat dock.

I really could go on and on about everything at Grand Floridian, as well as the deluxe resorts, in general. Grand Floridian is Disney's top resort. While some may argue whether or not it is the "best" resort on property, it is certainly one of the best and most elegant. I do not think you will be dissapointed with your choice.

Hope this answers your questions, feel free to e-mail me if you have any other questions!

Cinderella's Castle Suite isn't able to be booked as of yet. That is something that is given away each day for the latest Disney celebration.
I have stayed in a suite at the deluxe resorts and loved it but personally find it more cost effective to stay at the Villas like Wilderness Lodge Villas, Boardwalk or Beach Club Villas when I need the extra space.
If you stay at the Grand in the summertime there is a good chance that you will be able to swim (free) with character like Goofy! :)
