Okay, near the end of january I am going to Las Vegas with my mom for a little trip where can we go together, i.e shows or general locations, and where can I go. By the way I am 24 Years old and have never been to Vegas as an Adult. All suggestions are welcomed.

I don't care about distance, really, just planning on a backpack, and I have five days at my disposal, in March. I want to go somewhere with the most solitude possible, but still beautiful and fun. I'm 17 and my hiking partner is 16, and we live in Colorado and are used to backpacking.

I live in what feels like a rain forest, i.e., the Tennessee Valley, where the humidity is 60-100% just about all the time, at all times of the year. I'm looking for a place with better weather, not just less humid but relatively mild temps (i.e. not 110 degree summers!) Does anyone have an idea where this might be? I like the Southeast US pretty well, except for the humidity, which gets harder to take every year. And my husband's allergies and discomfort from excess humidity are getting so bad he can't sleep properly. I'd like to escape the jungle without moving to the desert. Thanks for your answers!

Hey~ I 'm thinkin about moving out there sometime in the spring ,but I'm wondering a few things before I decide to take the plunge.

Between N.Shore and Waikiki, which is a better, more affordable place to live? Also, does anyone know of a good/affordable place to rent either studios or condos out there ( in both places & preferably furnished)? Thanks for your input! :)

Doesn't need to be specifically in that town, but close would be good. Moving from Tennessee so affordable would be nice. Does anyone know of an area where the rentals would be a max of $1400?

My wife is young, attractive and a bit naive. She insists on walking around late at night near our apartment (near the University of Pennsylvania). Last night a guy was shot just a couple blocks from here. Am I wrong to tell her she should not be walking around by herself at 10:00pm? Am I being over-protective and paranoid?

I'm looking for the quickest route. Hopefully only on the subway, as I'd rather not use the bus. Thanks!

I currently live in Las Vegas and pay $1,300 a month for a 3 bedroom house in an upscale section of town (that's not including utilities, etc.). For about the same price, what type of housing (whether it be house, apartment, condo) can I expect to find? I don't need 3 bedrooms, so I would be more than willing to live in a 1-2 bedroom if it was a nicer area for the same price. Any suggestions or thoughts?
