United States - January 2007

I know there's no such thing as being 100% safe, but there has to be more decent and safer areas in Spokane to live. Can anyone give me some recommendations, tips, and even let me know the areas to avoid all together. This is in regards to finding and apartment. Thanks!!

Okay, I'm trying to cut down on my spending, but I am bored outta my skull. Unfortunately, all the "frugal living" sites are geared around moms with a horde of kids and "family" things to do, or students (of which I am no longer). I'm single, live alone, and I want to have some fun and meet new friends without breaking the bank. There's got to be more than books and DVDs from the library and surfing the net!
