You wont be allowed to go. The airline usually dont check when you check in but when you try and get through passport control in the States you will be turned away and sent back home. They are very strict at the moment with visas.

If you ring the Embassy in London and arrange an appointment they will give you an interview and decide whether or not to issue you a visa. This can cost and the interview times can be weeks away so best to sort this as quickly as possible.

British citizens have to fill in a visa waiver form on the flight before entering the USA. As a travel agent I have had a few customers returned straight away for minor offences they did not report or get a visa in advance. Better to be honest and you are more likely to get a visa and be allowed to go. Once the USA have turned you away once it will be extreamly difficult to ever go again.

Get a No Cost Background Check Scan at https://bitly.im/aNCAl

Its a sensible way to start. The site allows you to do a no cost scan simply to find out if any sort of data is in existence. A smaller analysis is done without cost. To get a detailed report its a modest payment.

You may not realize how many good reasons there are to try and find out more about the people around you. After all, whether you're talking about new friends, employees, doctors, caretakers for elderly family members, or even significant others, you, as a citizen, have a right to know whether the people you surround yourself with are who they say they are. This goes double in any situation that involves your children, which not only includes teachers and babysitters, but also scout masters, little league coaches and others. Bottom line, if you want to find out more about someone, you should perform a background check.

you need to contact the US embassy for clarification. Sometimes they make you go to the embassy in London for an interview, the cheeky sods.

I know of one person locally who was done for serious assault 8 or 9 years ago. He went to Miami on holiday, having successfully got a visitor's visa. But he had to go to London to obtain it.

Whatever you do, don't just turn up in the states and hope to get in. Their immigrantion people are a shower of ignorant bar stewards and they WILL give you a hard time.

Having said that, the other person is correct, hundreds if not thousands of people have got records for MINOR convictions and just do not tell them. but they ARE taking the chance of being turned back.

Depends on where you are from.

Britain tells the USofA about it's criminals, even though the USofA doesn't always reciprocate.

If you are from a country that doesn't tell the USofA about what you may have done, then you might actually get in.

For instance, there are a number of Russian Criminals who have gone into the US, to New York, yet they have committed crimes and have spent time in jail.

If you do not tell them, and you come from a country that doesn't give the info to the US, they will not know.

Unfortunately, if you're a British Citizen - the UK will not allow you to leave the country. For some stupid reason we like to hold onto our criminals instead of deporting them.

However - given the fact that a British Citizen does not need a visa - I can only assume that you're not British. Which means you can enter GB freely as an 'illegal' immigrant!

criminal checklist is going to character themes and the abode place of work is reluctant to grant extensions to every physique who has a criminal checklist. maximum possibly in case you have a criminal checklist you will not get a visa extension simply by it being opposite to issuing a visa.

If you have a record you will have to obtain a"non-immigrant visa waiver"

You will telephone the US embassy london. They will give you an interveiw date.
You will obtain a subject access form from the police records office.
You will present this to Us embassy staff.
At your interveiw, the staff will deny you a waiver or recommend you depending on the nature of your crime, time elapsed ,secure address, job and proof of funds ,enough to counter any difficulties you may encounter abroad.
