Ct borders NY, but it's about an hour+ from New Haven To Manhattan,about 2hrs from Hartford to Manhattan. It's about 3 1/2 -4 hours from Boston to Manhattan, an hour less border to border.

connecticut and mass are huge. From the closest point in Mass to ny is about 4 hours from the furthest point to ny is about 7 hours Conn can be anywhere from 5 min to 4 hours

You need to be more specific. What towns?!?
Boston to NYC: 4 hours without traffic...like at 3 a.m. or on the FunWah bus that doesn't obey traffic regulations and speed limits.
