not true.
i live in nyc and have been to resutrants that serve kids alcohol.
however, the ones i usually go to have stopped.

if any of them serve alcohol to underage kids, then the people who serve it need to be arrested for endangering a minor
no company wants to be known for serving alcohol to underaged children, because then the restaurant risks getting closed down by the city or the state

Im a teen myself, and unlike all those who are SO concerned for your safety, Im gonna be honest.
Any place thats not a huge chain, or blown up by tourists, will most likely serve underage kids if they dont look like they're 15 and play it off cool. Especially night clubs, comedy clubs, and cool places like that. Be safe, Be responsible.

I don't think there is an age limit to order food at any restaurant.
