Im 25, single and looking to move by summer time. Although I've never visited Denver, i'm taking a leap and moving. ( im very excited ) Can anyone make a suggestion about where in denver I might live. I here Parker is a nice place. I want a place where young adults mostly live. Somewhere average...... ok, so I'll be finished with grad school classes in a year and will have the option to basically move anywhere for an internship. I've thought a lot about moving to chicago, but now I'm thinking that maybe I should consider some other places as well. here are the things that I'm looking for in a a new location:

-good public transportation/train system (I want to be able to get places easily without driving a car)
-culturally diverse
-lots of interesting stuff to do for someone in their 20's

ha, thats about it. I'm really open to anywhere right now so please suggest a place, and also tell me *why* it'd be a good place to live.

Moving to Atlanta from Los Angeles. I have rented a loft downtown within walking distance from work. I don't like the idea of renting very long so I'm going to be looking for a house. I need some suggestions for neighboorhoods that offer good housing, good restaurants and variety of places for shopping. If you're answering please live, or have lived in the Atlanta Metro are.

I'm hoping to keep it within 30 miles of downtown. Please don't tell me how bad the traffic is, I live in LA right now, I know what bad traffic is.

Ok, here's my situation. My company has jobs available almost everywhere in the US. I get to pick 5 cities to live and get sent to one of them. One city on my list will undoubtedly be Seattle (been there once and loved it). Can I get some general info on the city? Real estate prices, crime rate, traffic, fun stuff to do??? I'm also a big snowboarder, any of that close by? I don't think the rain thing will be a problem for my wife and I, but how do people with experience of moving to Seattle deal with it? I should have prefaced all of the ?'s with: I will more than likely be at or near the Sea-Tac airport for work. I'm willing to commute for a better neighborhood but nothing crazy. Also, we are not millionaires, lets say we pull in about 100k/year, hence please don't tell me to move to Seattles version of Beverly Hills. Thank you all in advance for answering such a broad question, just any pertinent info would be great, thanks again!

Our plane will take off at 7:00pm but we have to check out our hotel before 11:00am. Wondering if there is anything or any place we can go between 11:00 - 6:00, the real problem is we don't have a car, and we've heard that LA's transportation is inreliable. Any suggestions on where to kill 5 hrs?

p.s. we also heard there's a Westfield not far away but shopping is probably not be our first choice.
