what month, and at the beginning, middle, or end of the month?

Most of the time the real snow occurs in January and February. Although we can get some light snow in December and the occasional storm in March. I can't remember the last time I saw snow before the end of December.

Usually (before global warming) it is mid November for the New York City area. Earlier if you mean upstate New York.

Doesnt it snow all year round except for the summer.
