I will be going to pick up my fiance in about a week and would rather not travel on the interstate. I feel more comfortable on other types of highways. I know it is a straight drive either way i choose. I cant find my asnwer on yahoo maps, so please help. I would really like to know how much time to add to my trip by taking US 90. Thank you.

I know Los Angeles is considered to be the film capital of the U.S. but NYC also has a lot of film. However, there are more prominent in theater and some TV. Thus, bringing me to the question, which place would it be "easier" to get an agent for screenwriting? Furthermore, aside from schools such as NYU, USC, UCLA, is there any schools in the LA or NY area that would be beneficial to go to and that are still a lot cheaper than those other schools? NYFA in either LA or NY perhaps? What internships can you take that will help in screenwriting? Thank you.

Is it possible to live in Los Angeles without a car? I'm aware there are buses but is it as accessible as the transportation system in New York? Where is the best area to live if you want to try the "Hollywood" thing like everyone else? What is the safest area with the closest proximity to the studios while at the same time relatively cheap?
