I will be going to pick up my fiance in about a week and would rather not travel on the interstate. I feel more comfortable on other types of highways. I know it is a straight drive either way i choose. I cant find my asnwer on yahoo maps, so please help. I would really like to know how much time to add to my trip by taking US 90. Thank you.

Hey Amanda,,, part of the highway or the bridge from Pascagoula across is not there anymore.... i dont remember if its the one on I-10 or 90... look and see before you go...

Katrina tore it apart..... its still not repaired ....

My suggestion.. tell Fiance to fly to Lafayette and pick him up there..... No kidding... it will probably be cheaper and less wear and tear on you driving..... or he could fly into New Orleans also.. its only less than an hour from Houma....

I know i fly out of Houma in the oil business.. and live in Mississippi..

good luck
