*** Keep in mind, Boston is a small city, very friendly to tourists on foot! You'll be able to walk a lot of these places in a few days time, all at once! Also, there is a fabulous train system for just a few dollars. The best view of the city is from the top of the Prudential or John Hancock buildings- make sure to take beautiful pictures!! Enjoy!!

Phileen's Basement--- great used clothing store
An oyster bar where JFK used to hang out,
They have a foot tour that is interesting.
There is a museum nearby (Plymouth, I think) that is owned by Ocean Spray Cranberries and it is REALLY interesting, believe it or not..... check out the floor, never seen one like it beforeor since!
These are a few of the things that stayed with me after I visited there many years ago... not to mention the fabulous restaurants!

Good call on the Museum of Science. The lightning show produced by the Van der Graff generator is a sight to behold. Maybe not for small children because, you know, there's lightning and it's scary and loud.

Old north church, Aquarium, marketplace, Revere House, Cheers,Grainery burrying ground, old corner bookstore, Harvard Yard. That's only 8,but I was only there for a couple of days.

Farmergirl9 has it all right there. Great answer!! I might add checking out the Oak Bar or Whiskey Park (Cindy Crawford's place) for a cocktail if you are so inclined.
